Substring function

I have a macro that searches row by row for specific text, and if it exists deletes the entire row. (see below for the portion that checks the cell value). I need to add a check for a substring to this. The sub string would be: "****»ITERATIVE" How would I do that. I have never worked with substrings in Excel before.

This is unclear but I think that you are looking for something like

if .value like "~****»ITERATIVE"
