Subtotals

I should know the anwer to this questions, but how do I sum subtotals in a spreadsheet. I just can't remember how to do it. Thanks.

If your values and subtotals are all in the same column, and you're using the "Subtotal" function, just create a formula in a cell that includes all of the values and subtotals - the subtotal function will sum the regular values but ignore the values in cells with the subtotal function in them.
