Hello

I was wondering if there was a way to subtotal a sumif formula?

For example I have a formula that says sumif if the criteria = false. Is there a way of adding a subtotal to this so that if I filter on a column the sumif will update?

Any help would be gratfully received

Jason

Hi Jason

There are several ways to do it.

- Add a column with the criterion and filter that column with False. Then filter the other column as you want. Then it's a normal subtotal.
- Use an advanced filter with the criterion and again it's a subtotal.
- Use an array formula and Subtotal with parameter 9 to sum each cell in a visible row.

Hope this helps
