Hi,

I have one summary sheet and up to 30 similar data sheets with different names. The cell and data layout is the same in all the data sheets. Is there an easy way to sum all the same cells (e.g. sum the B6 cells in all data sheets) in the summary sheet.

I have to do this for a number of cells so that the summary worksheet figures are a total of cells in the data sheets.

Cheers,
Paul

Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
The name of the summary sheet is summary but the names of the data sheets are all various names (e.g. importantissues34, hallow hill dev 65, etc...). I was trying to reference using the worksheet names but due to the length of the names of the data sheets this was becoming messy.

Add two new sheets, name then Begin and End, place all the relevant sheets in between these two, and invoke:

=SUM(Begin:End!B6)
