Sum Data

Hello,

I need a quick way to sum data based on different criteria. For example, if i have the following data:

Insert Mailer Insert
Total Total Total
Product A 5 5 15
Product B 5 20 5
Product C 5 10 7

End result: If the title says "Insert", i want the totals. Therefore product A end result should be 20.

I have more than 3 columns that i am working with. I tried a sumif and I can get it to work with the first row of data. I get confused when I try to work with differnt rows.
Confusing i know. I tried to paste my excel example in here but the formats were off.

Any suggestions.

Do you want a total for each row? try this in row 3 copied down

=SUMIF(B$1:D$1,"Insert",B3:D3)
