I need to sum a range of cells if in a adjoining cell the number is between a certain range. is this possible? I have tried a few things using SUMIF and the AND function but could not get anything to work.

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Either

=SUMIF(A1:A10,">=10",B1:B10)-SUMIF(A1:A10,">20",B1:B10)

or

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A10>=10),--(A1:A10<=20),B1:B10)
