I'm counting all people that are on a certain floor, and meet a certain condition. (Seat open, seat closed etc...)
=(SUMIF(F22:F1000,"5",C22:C1000)*SUMIF(F22:F1000,"Open Slot",C22:C1000))
If I were to put *MY* understanding of this formula into a complete sentence it would say,
"If Row F says "OPEN SLOT" and Row C says "5" then Sum"
Clearly it does not say that though.
The above formula, does not yield anything. I'm not clear on why. I'm still fairly new/early intermediate to excel so this shouldn't exactly come as a superise.
