Hello, here's a short example of data:
In Column L4 I have: =SUM(INDEX(E:H,MATCH(K4,E:E,0),0))
What I want to sum, is if the date in K4 is found in Column E, then all the numbers in Column G:H are added, which should be 12.
I wanted to use SUMIF, but got no where with that!
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please...
Thank you for your help

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Difficult to tell what is wrong with the sumifs you used as you haven't posted it.

My SUMIFS formula: =SUMIFS(G:G,G:G,"1",E:E,"1-3-2022")
The reason why I dont like this, is I have to manually type in 1-3-2022.
1-3-2022 is in cell K4.
I haven't had luck installing =K4 in the SUMIFS formula. So now I'm trying the Sum (Index)(Match) instead.

Try: =SUMIFS(G4:G22;E4:E22;"="&K4)
