I have a sheet, it will post a screenshot so you guys can follow. There are 18 what I will call divisions which are made up of 7 columns each. In each division is a column labeled type. value in this column is either custom or grow. Also in each division is a column that is labeled Planned Delivery. I need to a sum of the grow and a sum of the custom for all 18 divisions for each date .

So I want to know on 10/31 how much grower and how much custom do I have down.
I am trying to get away from going in with x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x and so on because when I change the type I have to go in and redo the formulas. What to get a sum for each day based on each feed type.

Thanks for your help.

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Upload your sample file in Gdrive & share the link. Or, post data using xl2bb, so someone can help you.
