So have a set of numbers in a column that is labeled by division All the number are whole numbers with no decimal and manually input, when I highlight each divisions set of numbers the status bar shows me a rounded number which contributes to the total column summed higher than the number is should show (10 to be exact). What is going on and how do I fix?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
This is practically impossible to answer without seeing the data however it is highly unlikely that the figure in the status bar is incorrect and more likely that there is something which you haven't noticed in the data.

Whilst rounding errors are possible in some situations, the discrepancy would be a minuscule decimal value rather than a difference of 10 as you say you are seeing.
