How can i do that ??

the main goal is to use excel to count if i exceed my allowed duty time per 7 day consecutive days.

Thank for your help.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

I don't know if this is the best solution, but you could try this.

If your numbers are in B1 through B16, and your summation is in cell B17 use this formula:
=SUM(OFFSET(B17,-1,0):OFFSET(B17,-7,0))

As you add days, just make sure you copy down this formula first then overwrite yesterday's formula with today's hours

here's a formula that sums the last 7 cells in column A:

=SUM(OFFSET(A1,MATCH(1E+306,A:A)-7,0):OFFSET(A1,MATCH(1E+306,A:A),0))
