Hi,

I have a data as shown below, Now I need sum starts from month shown in column 1

 Jan-09 Feb-09 Mar-09 Apr-09 May-09 Jun-09 Total Month Amount Amount Amount Amount Amount Amount Jan-09 1 2 3 4 5 6 Feb-09 1 2 3 4 5 6 May-10 1 2 3 4 5 6 Mar-09 1 2 3 4 5 6
<colgroup><col width="64" style="width: 48pt;" span="8"> <tbody> </tbody>

E.g. Jan-09 includes sum starts from Jan-09 to Jun-09=21
Feb-09 includes sum starts from feb-09 to Jun-09=20
May-09 includes sum starts from may-09 to Jun-09=11

### Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

Hi

Why are the numbers in all the rows repeated?
Is it always like that (in that case why repeat them?) ?

More to the point why are column headers the same as the row headers

##### Board Regular
Insert a row and column for index numbers which represent the month... If you want, you can include the date too...

Array formula: =SUM(IF(\$C\$2:\$H\$2>=B4;C4:H4))

Code:
