# Sum with #N/A

#### BuzzG

##### Board Regular
What's the simplest way to sum a column of values that contains some #N/A cells. I hope I don't have to change the formulas of each cell so #N/A are eliminated.
Thanks,
BuzzG

Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Hi,

You can use SUMIF. For example:-

=SUMIF(A1:A10,"<>#N/A",A1:A10)

=SUMIF(A1:A10,"<>#N/A")

Thanks for the help
