Hi all,

Am I going mad or has something changed.

I have column C formatted as number 2 decimal places in an xls file sheet .

If I am cursor in C10 and I click AutoSum it sums C3 to C9 (which is weird) but what I really want to see is SumAbove as I always used to see.

How do I SumAbove?

Thanks

Steve

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Unless it's new to 2007 and I haven't noticed it SUMABOVE isn't an Excel function that I'm aware of. I think Autosum will add the contiguous range of values directly above or to the left of the cell you are entering the sum into.

No, I saw that though. I was pretty sure excel used to use SumAbove but I'll stand corrected.

I guess the question is then if its not sumabove what should I use to make sure that if I enter a new line it auto adds the new cells into the addition?

Thanks
