SUMIF and COUNT IF?

How can I figure out both the # of times the TOTAL SALES AMOUNT is equal to the LAST SALE AMOUNT, and then get the count of the # of times this occurred? Thanks.

Instead of posting a picture, post the actual data. That way, we can copy it and paste it into an Excel file to test. We can't do that with a picture. Just copy it and paste it in.

Also, let us know what result(s) you expect.

You could add in column C =IF(A3=B3,"equal","not equal") Then fill down. Then in cell D4 enter =countif(C:C,"equal") to get the count and in D5 enter = sumif(C:C,"equal",B:B) to get the sum.

(adjust your range where necessary)

Assuming your data runs from rows 2 to 30...
COUNT: =SUMPRODUCT(--(A2:A30=B2:B30))
SUM: =SUMPRODUCT(--(A2:A30=B2:B30),(B2:B30))
