# Sumif based upon a criteria and between date ranges

I need to sum a dollar figure between a date range based upon a text entry in another column

Dates are a2:a40000
Dollar Figure is d2:d40000
M2:M40000 is a Y or a N
Date Range is X2 as the start date and Y2 as the end date

I need to add up the dollar figure between the date range if M2:M40000 is marked with a "N"

This is the formula I am trying to work with. It is obviously not even close

=sumifs(d\$2:d\$40000, M2:m40000"="N,a2:A40000 ">=x2, A2:a40000<=Y2)

### Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

maybe something like...

=SUMIFS(\$D\$2:\$D\$40000,\$M\$2:\$M\$40000,"N",\$A\$2:\$A\$40000, ">="&\$X\$2,\$A\$2:\$A\$40000,"<="&\$Y\$2)
