Sumif for month to date and year to date

Hi,

So I have a spreadsheet that I have to workout how much money we have made month to date, quarter to date and year to date.

Does anyone know what formula to use for any of these?

Say the dates are in column A, and cash is in column B
 

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Have you thought about using a Pivot Table? All elements could be included in the same summary table?

How do you want your results table to look?

A small example of the proposed layout would help.
