SUMIF LEFT FORMULA

=SUMIF(LEFT(A5)="4",L3:L18)
Please correct this formula
I am trying to add column L, if the corresponding cell in column A has account number that starts with "5"

:eek: A *big* caveat regards the above: Assumes that your Account Numbers are formatted as Text, not General / Numeric.

Will fail if not.
