=SUMIF(match,CONCATENATE($C$3,$B$11),VLOOKUP(B4,wklist,2,FALSE))

I am having some parenthesis troubles with this formula. When I pull it up in the function wizard it looks like it should work. I believe the vlookup within the sum range is what's doing it. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
VLOOKUP() isn't going to return a range, but a value.

The SUMIF() function expects a range as its 3rd argument -- that's the range of cells to sum (if the argument is specified, that is).

If you can post a small sheet sample, and let us know what results you're looking for, I'm sure one of us can come up with something.
