Hello all,

I'm hoping this is a simple one for one of you Excel wizards!!

I would like to add the value of a cell in a given column when 2 different criteria are met in adjacent cells in adjacent columns.

For example, if a cell in column A reads a £ value, and a cell in column B reads 'won', and a cell in column C reads 'JANUARY', I'd like D1 to show the total £'s of all cells in column A that meet this criteria.

I need to use the same formula for each month of the year.

Hope this is clear and an easy one for you to answer.

Thank you in advance!!!!

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi again @Fluff ,

Sorry to come back on the same post but rather than post again about a similar issue, I thought I ask if this formula could be tweaked.

Essentially I think it should be a similar formula but instead of adding up all the £ values in the column, I want to simply add 1 in the relevant month column when the same criteria are met ('won' and the relevant month are selected). For example, if 3 jobs are 'won' in June (regardless of which month they were quoted) then the cell for June should also read 3.

I hope this is Ok and thanks for your help.
