Help please.....

I have a workbook that has say 100nr tabs

Each tab has a row that under Column A will have the wording "Total Hrs". From column B onwards (working towards the right) will be the sum of these hours, so B will have a total, C will have a total and so on.

Problem - the "row" identification (or number) of total hours is on different row numbers per tab and some tabs may have multiple rows of hours due to different time periods.

I need to be able to (on a front summary page) sum the total hrs per tab.

Any ideas as we've hit a brick wall.

many thanks in advance

Nath

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

I don't think that I got your problem totally but maybe you might like to check INDIRECT() function.
