Hi All,

Can someone tell me if it is possible to use a SUMIF function based on the criteria being between to dates.

i.e. only sum if the date is between the 01/08/2011 to the 10/08/2011?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
If these dates are in cells A1 and B1, for instance;

=SUMIF(C1:C10,"<="&B1,"D1:D10")-SUMIF(C1:C10,"<"&A1,"D1:D10")

Change to match your worksheet layout.

yes
=SUMIFS($b$1:$b$5,$A$1:$A$5,">"&c3,$A$1:$A$5,"<="&c4)

where b1:b5 is sum range,
a1:a5 is criteria range dates
c1 & c2 hurdle dates

Typo, apologies. This will work:

=SUMIF(C1:C10,"<="&B1,D1:D10)-SUMIF(C1:C10,"<"&A1,D1:D10)
