Looking for correct way to write a formula for SumIf, using the following example:

If total of cells D2 + D3 are greater than 0
Then F1 less (D2:D3)
Else, leave blank

Example:

D E F
1 Balance 1,000.00
2 100 900.00
3 -300 600.00
4
5

Help will be greatly appreciated.
 

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
=IF(D2+D3>0,F1-(D2+D3),"")
or
=IF(sum(D2:D3)>0,F1-sum(D2:D3),"")
