Sumifs formula problem

=SUMIFS('ITEMPO Events'!$R$2:R$7998,'ITEMPO
Events'!$L$2:$L$7998,$A20,'ITEMPO Events'!$N$2:$N$7998,">="&$B20)

I am using the above formula to calculate days. If column N of my ITEMPO worksheet is blank, I want to use the value in column M (i.e. 'ITEMPO Events'!$M$2:$M$7998,">="&$B20).

I tried using an IF statement, but I must be doing it wrong because it is not working.

Try the following formula, which needs to be confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER, not just ENTER...

=SUM(IF('ITEMPO Events'!$L$2:$L$7998=$A20,IF(IF('ITEMPO Events'!$N$2:$N$7998<>"",'ITEMPO Events'!$N$2:$N$7998,'ITEMPO Events'!$M$2:$M$7998)>=$B20,'ITEMPO Events'!$R$2:R$7998)))
