I have a SUMIFS formula that uses 4 criteria (task, labor category, name, and theatre). I have one theatre criteria that contains 3 different designations to indicate that theatre (yes, I know, but it's what I was given to work with!). Is it possible to have that part of the SUMIFS formula contain an OR statement as a subformula? Not sure how to write that part... ?? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
With Sumif you can use an array constant, but need to wrap the whole formula in SUM()

=SUM(SUMIF(criteria range,{"either","or"},sum_range))

I haven't tried it with sumifs, but think it should work.
