Can AVERAGEIFS work the way SUMIFS works in this example? (SUMIFS example works)
=SUM(SUMIFS('PAST YEAR'!F:F,'PAST YEAR'!D:D,NJIL!A:A,'PAST YEAR'!A:A,{"IL","1"})))
=SUM(AVERAGEIFS('PAST YEAR'!F:I,'PAST YEAR'!D:D,NJIL!A:A,'PAST YEAR'!A:A,{"IL","1"})))

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
It looks like you have more columns of your AVERAGEIFS function than you do in your SUMIFS. Any ...IFS() function will only work with a single column. You cannot say F:I, it has to be F:F.

No, that is mathematically no.

But you can do:
Rich (BB code):
=SUM(SUMIFS('PAST YEAR'!F:F,'PAST YEAR'!D:D,NJIL!A:A,'PAST YEAR'!A:A,{"IL","1"}))/
SUM(COUNTIFS('PAST YEAR'!F:F,'PAST YEAR'!D:D,NJIL!A:A,'PAST YEAR'!A:A,{"IL","1"}))
