Does anyone see an error in the formula below? This seems like a straight forward use of sumifs. Each month, I'm trying to calculate the YTD value with two criteria. I keep getting an error. All examples I've seen using sumifs are only adding one row or column. Arrays will not work here. Wrong function to use possibly? Thanks

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
With SUMIFS all the ranges have to be the same size, hence the error.
How about
Excel Formula:
=sumproduct(B6:B9="118ve")*(c6:c9="indirect")*(d6:e9))

Solution
=sumproduct(B6:B9="118ve")*(c6:c9="indirect")*(d6:e9))
Awesome! I've used Excel for a long time and never knew sumproduct could be used for functions other than multiplication. Thanks!
