I want to =sum time from two time formart values.
Example: 7:30 - 11:30 = 4:00
but I want it to be like this: 7:30 - 11:30 = 240 minutes.

thanks for taking a look!

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Try
=HOUR(B1-A1)*60+MINUTE(B1-A1)
where A1 = 7:30 and B1 = 11:30
and format the cell to general.

what is the purpose of MOD for this?
=(B1-A1)*1440
works too.

not if your times cross midnight. That's why MOD is used in the formula.
