Hi All,

I Want Pivot data table year Wise from April to March (instead of Jan to Dec) for any year. is there any possibility of that with excel, Basically in my world financial year start from April To March

So, Qtr 1: April, May, June
Qtr 2: July, Aug, Sep
Qtr 3: Oct, Nov, Dec
Qtr 4: Jan, Feb, Mar

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hi hardeep.kanwar , just thinking.... if you make a named list with qtr2, qyr3, qtr4, ytr1 there shouldn't be a problem i think?

So make a pivot table, group on Year and Quarter, then click on sort options, more sort options, uncheck autosort and then select the custom list you just made......

Hope this helps? (i'm dutch, so i don't have the English version right in front of me........
