Hi All

I have the following table:

A 1
A 22
A 4
B 3
B 7
A 11
C 5
C 77
B 2
D 34
E 32
D 43
E 54

I wish to obtain the sum for all A, B, C, etc. The input of A's, B's, C's, etc will vary each time, the total sum is carried out...that is, how do I obtain respective sums for each, when I the input for each changes.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

=SUMIF(A:A,E2,B:B)

where E2 houses a criterion like A.
