Summing Daily Data by Calendar Month

I have data arrayed in a spreadsheet, with individual orders in rows, and order dates (daily) and revenue in columns. I need to associate the daily orders and revenue with the months. I would like to see, by month, how many and how much revenue is associated with the daily orders. Is there a function in Excel to accomplish this?
