Hi everyone,
Could you help me guys please to incorporate accounting period into SUMPRODUCT formula.
Right now I can sum amounts according to calendar month using =SUMPRODUCT (--(MONTH ($D$65:$D$109)=1),--(YEAR($D$65:$D$109)=2006) but I don’t know how to modify this formula to sum amounts according to accounting period.
Month end is January 25, 2006 February 22, 2006 March 22, 2006 April 26 2006, May 24 2006.
Close is last Wednesday of every month except for March, June, and September when it is the second last Wednesday of the month. December is usually the last Wednesday.
It is probably very hard to incorporate this condition into the formula so is there any way to put just dates to sum amounts between those close dates?
This is an example of an accounting period.
03/29/06 04/05/06 04/12/06 04/19/06 04/26/06
$ 1,790 $ 1,950 $ 1,300 $ 2,600 $ 2,175
Thanks a lot
