hi i want to sum the numbers equal to 1D fromt he following list of numbers. I have being trying to use sumproduct but its not working.

This is the Data;

sumif doesn't work

Please be more descriptive. in what way does it not work? What result did it return, and what were you expecting?

It's possible your cells in column A contain leading or trailing spaces. If so, try the following:

=SUMIF(A:A,"*1D*",B:B)
