### Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

No need for SUMPRODUCT
=SUMIF(A:A,"1D",B:B)

Col A = 1m, Col B = 6.8162761

sumif doesn't work

Please be more descriptive. in what way does it not work? What result did it return, and what were you expecting?

It's possible your cells in column A contain leading or trailing spaces. If so, try the following:

=SUMIF(A:A,"*1D*",B:B)
