=Sum(i8:i150)

returns that last number because most of them are negative. Is their anything speical that you have to do to sum a negative number?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Nope - should just add them up as they are (though obviously adding a minus decrements the total not increases it.

...Or do you mean that you want 1 + (5) + 10 = 16 (ignoring the sign of each number)?

If so, try =Sum(abs(i8:i150)), confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER instead of just enter.
