I have conducted a survey and need to compute certain data recieved. I need to count the number of male and females which answered my survey, only this data needs to be seperated into age groups <20, 20 to 30, 30 to 40 etc. i.e. Number of Males <20 which took part.

I have seperated this data into three sections

age male female

Any suggestions?

The next thing which I have to do is then compare the answers recieved, numbered one to nine, into male and female totals. I have a fourth section which containe the answer. i.e. Number of females which answered 1.

Any help would be much appreciated.
