Hi
I have an excel spreadsheet with peoples names forename, surname ina single column. The other spreadsheet has them surename, forename.
Is there a way to reverse all name in the first spread sheet so they match?
The names forname & surname are seperated by a , in a single column?
Thanks

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

This formula will reverse the firstname, Lastname to Lastname, FirstName

=MID(A1,FIND(",",A1)+1,30) &","&LEFT(A1,FIND(",",A1)-1)

If there are any extra comma's in the field, it will get messed up.
