Table Row Count Restriction

Hi All,

Please could someone help with these two questions.

Question 1:
I have a table that contains one field which contains a number in it. Through a query, this number adjusts a date by the number in the field and this is shown on a few reports. This is for back or forward dating of the reports.

The problem is that the table should only contain the one row... multiple rows within the table will cause errors. How can I restrict the table to only have one row?

Question 2:
I have a form that allows the user to insert the adjustment number into the table, and what I would like to do is that when this number is updated on the form, I would like the focus to return to Record 1.

Not sure how I could do any of this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Ivan

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Regarding Question 1, create a Form that is used for this adjustment, and only use the Form and not the underlying Table for changes. Then, on the form you can disable the Record Additions/Deletions and the Navigation buttons in the Form Properties so that all they can ever see is the one record. I do this all the time and it works great.
