Hi all you smart people.

I want to be able to take the data dump from my PO system and have it feed into a summarized dashboard that I can share with the department that shows by project (or budget center)
  1. The total amount of POs that have been created
  2. The total amount of invoices that have been applied against each PO
As you can see from the screen grab, this report shows invoice activity, so PO numbers are repeated based on the number of invoices that have come in against the PO.
Is it possible, without have to do a pivot table each time, to use formulas to add up the amounts that I need? Looking to do as little data massaging as possible so that this document could be live and accurate at all times.

Thank you!!

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
record a macro to create a pivot table, to get your results.
(it maybe just as easy to manually make the pivot after dump, rather run macro.)
