Can anyone help me how to make a Telephone Index in Excel with these fields:-

Name
Organization
Address1
Address2
Address3
Telephone1
Telephone2
Telephone3
Fax1
Fax2
Mobile1
Mobile2
Residence1
Residence2

I have this data in a Single Sheet like all this data is in ColumnsI want to make a Proper Telephone Index.

Care to explain a "Proper Telephone Index".

Post up some sample date to give an idea contents of the data.

Or are you just looking to align the data...such as convert ing coloum to rows? such as DATA| TEXT to columns?

Are you looking for formatting columns?...if so please provide sample of what your expected results should like.

I want the data to be like as near to Real Telephone Index as it could be e.g. I keep on entering all my Raw data into the same sheet and it automaticalyy sorts the data into 26 sheets (A , B , C , .... Y , Z ) which is automatically Generated and that too in a Label Form to be pasted on an Envelope.

Hi:

Still not sure what the objective is here. There are many brilliant members here (me not being one of them). So as soon as we get the facts and objectives straighten out, maybe a solution can be found. Let me see if I can restate the facts so far:

You have some data infomation of persons names, company info, address, several telephone numbers, etc.. as noted in your opening post. This data is in one worksheet.

You have a form on another sheet (in same workbook) that you wish to have arranged in the manner presented. One sheet for each named person.

You mentioned "this sheet should Come in Nth Sheet of the Index in alphabetical Order"...the order being the name of the
person...in this case "Najam-ud-Din"?


You further want now to print some label format? "which is automatically Generated and that too in a Label Form to be pasted on an Envelope"

So far correct?


Do all the phone numbers have the same scheme ...ie 7 digits and or 4 digits-7 digits arrangement? or some other schemes as well?
