I have a shortcut on my desktop to an Excel template. When I click on it it a new spreadsheet opens as it should do.

If I follow the shortcut from the Excel file open dialogue, it opens up the template itself for editing.

Can I set up a link from the file>open dialogue to open up a copy of the template (IE a new spreadsheet)?

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
