Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I have set up a template and excel sheet with the template wizard. When you click on Save you get a pop up asking whether you want to add a new record to the database. All OK so far!

BUT I want to perform the 'Capture Data in Database' function in a macro and I can't figure this out. (The recorder won't pick it up). I have seen this done in a macro in the 'spreadsheet solutions' expense forms and so on... can anyone tell me how this is done?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
