Good day all,

I was hoping the panel of experts here can assist with a formula to show only data between a string.

within column b2 we I have:

"Opened by Mattyro1 on 6/22/2011 07:41:41 AM"

What I am looking for is a formula to show only Mattyro1.

Anyones assistance is greatly appreciated.

4If the phrase "Opened by" and "on" are consistent then you could use

Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B6=MID(B2,11,FIND("on",B2)-(11+1))
