Can anyone assist with providing vba code on how to import a .txt file into excel without losing leading zeros for zip codes?

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.

Welcome to the Board!

Import those fields as "Text", and they will maintain the leading zeroes.
You can do that by importing with the Legacy "Text Import Wizard".
See this link here for details on how to do that: CSV Open Excel Text Number As Text

Rather than a guessing challenge just activate the Macro Recorder then in the Import Wizard assistant do not forget to specify the column as text …

As I mentioned, you need to enable the Legacy View in order to use it like it was years ago with the Import Wizard.
See here: Text Import Wizard
