Hi,

Apologies as I'm sure this has been asked many times before.

How do I combine a text string to include a cell result?

i.e. B1="This is the number (A1)" Where A1 is say 10.

The result would be "This is the number 10"

Can I place the cell reference anywhere in the text?

Thanks

Code:
=concatenate("This is the number ",A1)

Try:
Code:
="This is the number " &A1
Virtually the same as didd's suggestion but my own preference is to drop the CONCATENATE function part - each to their own of course
