Using VBA, I am currently trying to use the right formula function (=right(O2,8)).

The only way I can get the formula to work in VBA is using R1C1 methodActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=RIGHT(RC[9],8)")

Is there a way to use the function without R1C1?

=right$(Cstr(range("O2").value),8)
