I have a large excel file that lists words, their grammatical part of speech and definitions. Some of the cell contents look like the following:
sie (pers. ****.) she, her (acc. form of sie [sing.]); they, them (acc. form of sie [pl.]; Sie (pers. ****.) you (formal)
I would like to split the cells into the word(s), part of speech, and definition so that each is in the appropriate column. Alas, the data text to column option won't work. Does anyone have some VB code they could recommend. The file has a couple thousand rows, so this not a line by line task!

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Use XL2BB to post a sample worksheet. Then post a mocked up version of your solution.
