Hello,

There are two Sheets in a file, “Sheet1”, “Sheet2”

available on these Sheets the names of fruit ...

Sheet1:
Orange
Pear
Apple
Apricot
Cherry
Peach

Sheet2:
Tangerine
Orange
Pear
Banana
Cherry
Pomegranate
My question:
Can we provide a pivot table showing the difference in these two Sheets?

So in Sheet1 and Sheet2 is not on the, A pivot table will list the names of fruits

In summary, a pivot table will occur as follows;

Pivot Table:
Apple
Apricot
Cherry
Peach

Thank you in advance for your help,
good luck...

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
How do you generate the Pivot Table output? Why is Cherry there but Pear is not? Can you verbally explain what you want to happen - also, would you mind a formula solution or does it have to be a pivot table?

Mr. Richard Schollar;

How do you generate the Pivot Table output?

I can create a pivotTable report that uses ranges from one or more worksheets,
Pivot Table and PivotChart Wizard >>> Multiple consolidation ranges

But, I can’t create a pivotTable report that uses the difference of two worksheets

Why is Cherry there but Pear is not?

sorry, not a cherry
cherry on both pages registered

Not on the Sheet2: Apple, Apricot, Peach

Thank you, good luck.
