The size of excel file is bigger after saving ?

Hi everyone,

I have a excel file with the size is 5MB (I created it from my software, using xml spreadsheet). I can open it normally but, after clicking "Save" button (without changes), the new size is 25MB, and I can't open it again.

Are there anyone know why ? and how to fix this problem ?
