The X and the Y axis

I dont know what I did other than screw up. Usually you would have letters on the top and numbers on the left side so you can do formulas like =B2+C3 well right now I have numbers in both places and the cell that would usually be A1 is now called R1C1 Does anyone know how to change it back to Letters that make sense to me?

tools menu>options>general tab and uncheck the R1C1 check box
