This formula to check if a text string contains a number in it - is it an 'array' formula?

Found this post that has a formula that appears to do what I want > check to see if a text string has a number in it (any digit 0 thru 9):

=COUNT(FIND({0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9},A1))>0

But I see there's squiggly brackets, indicating an 'array', right? I've avoided array formulas in my file b/c I'm told they calculate much slower, and also I understand that to work properly they need to be entered with CTRL+Enter, not just Enter (right?)

Well in trying that formula without CTRL+enter it...seems to still work. It also seems to calculate as quickly as non-array formulas...so just wanted to ask:

1. Is the above a true "array" formula? (I notice the squiggly brackets are inside a set of normal brackets, so thought that perhaps it was not a traditional array formula)
2. Does it need to be entered with CTRL+enter or not...?

Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
It is not an array formula. The curly brackets would be at the beginning and end if it were.
